Spartan Race and the Tough Mudder running

Obstacles
In tough mudder, the course is flat and participants are expected to run through obstacles. The course is muddy. The participants run through the mud t their finish line. The participants live up to the title by running through a muddy course.  The mud in this race is different from that in Spartan Races. It’s very slippery and is normally in the form of clay.  Apart from the actual raceway track, the other part of the course is muddy.  At some places, there is some knee-deep mud that is easy to get stuck in. When it is an all raining all day, the mud factor is added. In Spartan Races, obstacles are in the form of hills and the vertical course that has to be hiked to the end.  In Spartan Races, there is less running due to the nature of obstacles. A considerable portion of the distance is spent hiking up grassy mountains or jogging through the woods, which have small muddy spots. The activities of a Spartan Race may depend on the location of the event.

Teamwork
The obstacles in tough mudder do not necessarily require teamwork.  Most of the obstacles can be easily completed with the help of teamwork.  However, obstacles can be completed individually.  Where necessary, Teamwork can be comprised of fewer members in a group.  The activity is characterized by a lot of camaraderie on the course. Thus, every one helps each other, even if they do not belong to the same team. For example, the  Pyramid Scheme section requires pairs to support each other by standing on each other’s shoulders to help people to the top.
In Spartan Race, the races have a mix of obstacles that demand teamwork as well as those that can be completed individually. However, there are often completed individually, though teamwork still helps a great deal on many others.  The major difference is that the Tough Mudder does not have a penalty for leaving out an obstacle. On the other hand, Spartan Race requires 30 burpees for any skipped obstacle. Therefore, a participant may never want to fail to attempt an obstacle in the Spartan Race as the burpees can certainly become exhausting. The obstacles in a spartan race as more challenging compared to those in the tough mudder. For example, the Traverse Wall has a wall with square blocks at the top and bottom to use your hands and feet to traverse horizontally across. The Barbed Wire Crawl: in the tough mudder is more intense that one might actually expect in the Spartan races.  However, the participants can skip the challenge.
Strength
The Spartan Race obstacles necessitate much more strength than the Tough Mudder.  Compared to the tough mudder, the obstacle are more physically demanding?  The Tough Mudder also has a wider range of obstacles. The Spartan Sprint almost all also have similar handles similar to those found in Tough Mudder. Spartan obstacles have more obstacles compared to Tough Mudder. Sometimes, these obstacles are doubled up. While the Mudder obstacles are fun, The Spartan Race obstacles are more challenging. It, therefore, requires more strength to engage in Spartan Race obstacles.
Difficulty
Tough Mudder is not a race.  It is not intended to be a race since participants got not timed.  The rules of this game alone decrease the difficulty level.  It focuses more about teamwork and the technique that we will get every participant through to the finish line. Given that so many obstacles require teamwork, they ease when participants work together. It’s by no means an easy course, but other team members help significantly. In terms of the distance, most tough mudder challenges cover between 10-12 miles. There is an increased level of difficulty in Spartan Race. The Super Spartan is more difficult than the Mudder. The obstacles are intense. Many are completed individually though teamwork is important.  Any failed obstacle attracts a 30-burpee penalty. The course is rough, and the distance is grueling since the slopes are very steep. Going into the Beast, a participant may expect 12-14 miles. However, the Spartan race does not account for obstacles when calculating the miles. Since obstacles are not factored into the distance, the mentioned distance is not nearly close to accurate. In case the obstacles are factored into the distance, the race may stretch up to 17 miles.
New idea
Obstacle events are delivering more value than anyone in the category in the field.  Both Tough Mudder Spartan races challenge are growing in popularity. Athletes need to complete and at each event, get a medal and other prices.  There are new concepts that can get incorporated in these races. For example, Spartan can increase the number of water stops with a Camelbak hydration system.  The games should also increase participation to include more participants from different countries. The competition will increase the value of the races. The events may also be included among the Olympic games to attract more participation.
