The
Company: The aerospace industry defines the air
transport industry that is well advised in the provision of services regarding
the locomotion of goods and persons across the global. Given that the use of
crafts is defined as the fastest means of transport, the industry has
facilitated the provision of services when it comes to emergency situations and
the rescue in the area that are less accessible by other means of transport.
Each nation has an established authority that manages the aerospace industry to
make sure that the services and operations related to the industry are well
provided and good coordinated throughout the world.
The
problem: Primarily the aerospace industry
despite providing the services over a period, it has been subjected to some
critical challenges that lowered the quality and financial projections of the
industry. Firstly, the passenger number has increased over the time and
managing and controlling of the persons within the airport is an identified
challenge. Subsequently, the airplanes have been the target of the terrorists,
and this provides the essence of monitoring and tracking the activities and
operations of the persons boarding the planes. The crafts have been crashing
due to the mechanical and technical problems which require some other means of
the invention to provide early alerting of the same. The loss of the passenger
luggage ‘bags’ has been identified as a notorious issue which lowers the
quality of services provided by the industry. The services provided within the
industry involve the use of liquor which at times is wasted through linkages.
To have the maximization of the profits, the control system should be provided
to reduce the spillage and facilitate the supply chain management.
The
Solution: The probable and only solution is
developing the RFID technology that will provide the solutions across the
industry. The RFID technology will hasten the monitoring and tracking of the
different sections of the industry from the airport all the way to crafts. The
passenger details are automated and monitored for the detection of the
malicious intentions. Parts of the airplanes can be tracked using the RFID
chips as well as the liquor control system that will reduce spillage. The
application will be applied at the control towers, tagged onto the planes,
located all over the airport and tagged within the traveling cards
(International Air Transport Association, 2008).
The
technology and Delivery: The RFID system will
provide guiding on how the passenger should move within the airport. The parts
of the crafts are tagged with the RFD tags so as to provide the monitoring of
the operations of the parts. In the case of a fault, an alert/ warning is
provided. The passengers luggage is tagged and thus facilitating the monitoring
and tracking to avoid the theft of the bags (McFarland, n.d). The application
will get the information of the passengers tracked and monitored as well as
their originality and facial intentions to take control of the terrorist
actions easily.
The
market: The actual RFID technology being
deployed within the aviation industry has not yet been applied in other
industries. Other companies had applied other RFID technologies to meet their
requirements. The system is unique in the fact that it cuts across the entire
industry to meet so as to boost the operations and services delivered by the
industry.
The
competitor: The aerospace industry is distributed
within the global. The competition does exist between the aviation firms such
as the British Airways against the Emirates Airways, Etihad Airways, Turkey
Airways, Egyptian Airways and others. Each aviation firm opts to increase the
technology to make it look better in the services delivered.
