How to make tea

How to make tea
Tea tends to be a beverage consumed by most people around the world than any other beverage. It is essential to know that a well-made cup of the team can warm the soul and heart of any tea lover. However, it can be unpleasantly bitter or tasteless when improperly prepared. I am a tea lover, and I have my method to prepare tea and make it taste best. Something you all should understand that each tea type normally calls for a different brewing temperature that is between 175° and 212°.

The first step in making tea is boiling enough water for a cup of tea in a pot, and you bring it to boil. If one is using tap water, it is necessary to allow the water to run cold for about ten seconds before using it for tea. The second step involves pre-heating the tea cup so that to avoid the boiled water from dropping in temperature once poured in the cup (Zak, 2009). Later, put tea in the bottom of the cup. You can use a tea bag or about one or two teaspoons of the desired tea flavor. When you are using teabags, you should ensure that the bags are fresh because some bags consist of small pieces of leaves that tend to be susceptible to being stale faster.
The third step is adding hot water. You must pour the hot water over the tea and ensure you use the correct amount to the quantity of the tea that you added. When in this step, it is essential to know that the ideal water temperature normally vary based on the type of tea one is using. The more the iodized tea, the hotter the water you will need. When you are using tea bags, it is important not to allow the water to boil because the tea bags contain tea dust and fanning; thus, have more surface area. Hence, it is essential to use slightly hot water. In the fourth step, allow the tea to steep through covering with cozy to retain warmth. Steep for about one or two minutes and later taste it to ensure that it retains its full flavor, but do not allow it to be bitter. In the fifth step, you can serve the tea depending on your taste. You may decide to serve black tea with sugar, milk, honey, or lemon. However, you should not serve the tea with both milk and lemon. If you serve milk with lemon, the milk will curdle. When you are using milk, it is incorrect to add milk to the boiling water. The correct procedure is pouring milk first to the cup and then adding the tea. Following this procedure tend to prevent the hot team from scalding the milk through heating it gradually.
An essential factor that I would like to inform you when making a proper cup of tea is that the water that you use when making the team must not be re-boiled before pouring into the teapot. The process is normally a chemical reaction that usually requires oxygen in the water (Zak, 2009). Thus, re-boiling water does not have oxygen in sufficient amount.
